The process and methods of registering a brand name in Greece
In order to register trademark in Greece, you can select one of three options:
- Registration in the national office of Greece. The foregoing shall be done in case it is used only there.
- Registration according to the Madrid system. Greece is the country that is party to the Madrid Protocol. One multi-application for the use of the trademark in several countries shall be submitted.
- Registration in accordance with the EU system. The application shall be submitted to the Office on Intellectual Property of the European Union. When the application is approved, the trademark can be used and will be protected throughout the EU.
