Hong Kong Companies Will be Able to File Reports Later

Hong Kong's Inland Revenue Department announced company protection measures during the coronavirus pandemic. Due to the current situation, legal entities may submit reports later. The new deadline for submitting reports, tax returns, objections is May 4. However, companies do not need to submit additional applications.

The Hong Kong tax authority also recommended that company representatives avoid filing documents through representatives. The Department of Internal Revenue recalls that it is best to submit reports online. In extreme cases, you can use the postal service.

Hong Kong's Inland Revenue Department also announced an extension of the country report. Companies are allowed to submit documents until June 1, 2020. If the pandemic situation does not improve, there is the possibility of an additional extension of the deadline for filing documents by the tax authority.
