History
Kramer family moved to Geneva about 300 years ago. In those years, several family members were professional bankers. In 1709, Pierre Cramer de Brandis created banking house named Cramer & Cie. Throughout the period of economic instability and crisis of 1929 and the Second World War, Kramer family continued to work as managers under different name. In July 2002, the bank merged with Compagnie Financière Norinvest (CFN) and joint-stock company (Société Anonyme); on March 19, 2003, the Federal Banking Commission approved the establishment of Banque Cramer & Cie SA. As part of the strategy of development of the financial branch, Norinvest Holding SA, as the sole shareholder of the Bank, acquired Banque de Patrimoines Privés Genève BPG SA in May 2009. After the merger of the two banks on January 1, 2010 Banque Cramer & Cie SA strengthened its financial position and its client base is broadened out, and the bank continues to evolve and develop.
